Tired of puddles, loose gravel and weeds pushing up through the joints of your Kings Dyke driveway? A resin bound driveway solves all three. We lay smooth, fully permeable resin surfaces across Kings Dyke, replacing tired tarmac and block paving with something that simply works.
How we install resin bound driveways in Kings Dyke
The real advantage of resin bound is that it is fully permeable. Rainwater drains straight down through the surface into the ground below rather than sitting on top, so puddles and standing water are a thing of the past and the finished driveway is SUDS-compliant.
Resin bound surfacing is made by mixing clear resin with natural stone aggregate and hand trowelling it over a prepared base to a smooth, seamless finish. Unlike loose gravel there is nothing to scatter or rake back, and unlike block paving there are no joints for weeds to find a way through.
Signs you might need Resin Bound Driveways in Kings Dyke
- You want a SUDS-compliant, permeable surface that manages rainwater responsibly.
- Weeds and moss keep pushing up through the joints of your block paving or slabs.
- Frost and ice make your current surface treacherous and you want reliable grip underfoot.
- Loose gravel scatters across the path, the lawn and into the house no matter how often you rake it.
- Oil drips and stains have marked your drive and you want an oil-resistant surface.
It all starts with a free consultation and a clear, written quotation, so you know exactly what your Kings Dyke resin bound driveway will involve before any work begins. Contact Driveway & Decking Co. to book yours.

Cannot recommend these guys enough. James, Ross, George and John all done an amazing job transforming my driveway and patio. Professional from the outset with a final finish that impresses everyone that sees it, that will last years to come!
We had our driveway done this year and they did a fantastic job. I'm really happy with the outcome. I would recommend this company.
Had these guys do my garden from a recommendation. They have done a fantastic job . My garden now looks amazing. Anyone who's thinking of having a garden makeover or a new drive I highly recommend this company. 10/10
Fantastic team, professional but friendly. They have done a brilliant job on our front drive a few years ago and this year on our back garden, with new decking, imprinted concrete patio and pathway and finished off with a gravel area and turf. They did the whole job from start, clearing the area, working through bad weather where they could and only the recent snow held the job up and only by a couple of days! Definitely recommend 100%. Thanks guys!
Very pleased with our driveway which was completed in January. Communication before the job was great and the work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to get imprinted concrete work done.
They did a brilliant job on our garden, good value and a great finish. Highly recommend :)

- Yes. With dozens of natural aggregate colours, from warm golden quartz to deep charcoal granite, we can match the finish to the brick, stone and character of your Kings Dyke property rather than force it to fit a limited palette.
- Yes. The same seamless, permeable resin bound system is ideal for garden patios and pathways, with no loose gravel and no puddles. We also lay commercial resin surfacing for higher traffic areas such as shopfronts and car parks.
- It starts with a free consultation and site survey. We assess your Kings Dyke driveway, discuss colours and options, then provide a clear written quotation with no obligation. Call or message Driveway & Decking Co. to book yours.
- Often, yes. If the base underneath is solid and in good condition, resin bound can be laid directly over it, which saves both time and money. Where the existing base has failed, we prepare a fresh, properly compacted foundation first.
- Most resin bound driveways cost between £50 and £80 per m². The exact figure depends on the size of the area, how much preparation the base needs and the aggregate you choose. We provide a free, no-obligation quote for every Kings Dyke project.
- With proper care, a resin bound driveway lasts 15 to 20 years. Because the surface is weed, frost and oil resistant, it keeps its appearance far longer than loose gravel or ageing tarmac, making it a sound long term investment for your Kings Dyke home.
- No. Resin bound is a seamless surface with no joints or gaps, so there is nowhere for weeds or moss to take hold. That keeps upkeep on your Kings Dyke driveway low and the finish looking clean year after year.
- Very. Because it is weed, frost and oil resistant with no joints and nothing loose, a resin bound driveway needs little more than the occasional rinse or sweep to stay looking its best, far less upkeep than gravel or block paving.
- Foot traffic is usually fine after about 4 to 6 hours, and you can park vehicles on it after 24 hours. Resin bound cures quickly compared with most surfaces, so daily life around your Kings Dyke home is back to normal fast.
