Our Cambridgeshire winters and wet spells are hard on the wrong kind of driveway. A resin bound surface handles them with ease, draining rainwater straight through instead of pooling on top, which is exactly why so many homes in Bassingbourn choose it over tarmac.
How we install resin bound driveways in Bassingbourn
In many cases we can lay a resin bound surface directly over your existing driveway. If the base underneath is solid and in good condition it can stay in place, which keeps the job faster and the cost down. Where the base has failed we prepare a fresh, properly compacted foundation first.
Resin bound is not only for driveways. The same seamless, permeable system works beautifully for garden patios and pathways, and stands up to heavy footfall in commercial settings from shopfronts to car parks, so it can tie your whole property together.
Signs you might need Resin Bound Driveways in Bassingbourn
- Frost and ice make your current surface treacherous and you want reliable grip underfoot.
- Your tarmac has cracked, faded or started to break up at the edges.
- You want a SUDS-compliant, permeable surface that manages rainwater responsibly.
- Blocks have sunk or lifted, leaving an uneven, trip-prone surface.
- You would rather lay a fresh surface over a sound existing base than dig everything out.
Spreading the cost is easy too, with finance options available on your resin bound driveway. Get in touch and our Bassingbourn team will help you find the right finish and the right plan for your budget.

Cannot recommend these guys enough. James, Ross, George and John all done an amazing job transforming my driveway and patio. Professional from the outset with a final finish that impresses everyone that sees it, that will last years to come!
We had our driveway done this year and they did a fantastic job. I'm really happy with the outcome. I would recommend this company.
Had these guys do my garden from a recommendation. They have done a fantastic job . My garden now looks amazing. Anyone who's thinking of having a garden makeover or a new drive I highly recommend this company. 10/10
Fantastic team, professional but friendly. They have done a brilliant job on our front drive a few years ago and this year on our back garden, with new decking, imprinted concrete patio and pathway and finished off with a gravel area and turf. They did the whole job from start, clearing the area, working through bad weather where they could and only the recent snow held the job up and only by a couple of days! Definitely recommend 100%. Thanks guys!
Very pleased with our driveway which was completed in January. Communication before the job was great and the work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to get imprinted concrete work done.
They did a brilliant job on our garden, good value and a great finish. Highly recommend :)
