How we install pattern imprinted concrete in White Cross Hill
Good drainage is designed in from the start. Because solid concrete is not porous, we plan soakaways or surface run-off into the layout so the finished surface is SUDS-compliant and meets the 2008 regulations, usually without the need for separate planning permission.
Care is taken to protect your property throughout. Sturdy boards shield lawns and borders during preparation, walls are masked to prevent staining, and rubbish is cleared with a grab wagon rather than a skip left sitting outside for days.

Cannot recommend these guys enough. James, Ross, George and John all done an amazing job transforming my driveway and patio. Professional from the outset with a final finish that impresses everyone that sees it, that will last years to come!
We had our driveway done this year and they did a fantastic job. I'm really happy with the outcome. I would recommend this company.
Had these guys do my garden from a recommendation. They have done a fantastic job . My garden now looks amazing. Anyone who's thinking of having a garden makeover or a new drive I highly recommend this company. 10/10
Fantastic team, professional but friendly. They have done a brilliant job on our front drive a few years ago and this year on our back garden, with new decking, imprinted concrete patio and pathway and finished off with a gravel area and turf. They did the whole job from start, clearing the area, working through bad weather where they could and only the recent snow held the job up and only by a couple of days! Definitely recommend 100%. Thanks guys!
Very pleased with our driveway which was completed in January. Communication before the job was great and the work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to get imprinted concrete work done.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Yes. Its strength and low upkeep make it ideal for pub gardens, restaurant terraces, shopfronts and public walkways, as well as domestic driveways, patios and paths.
- Most Pattern Imprinted Concrete installations start from £70 to £100 per m². The final price depends on the size, design and groundwork involved. Driveway & Decking Co. offer a free, no-obligation quote for any White Cross Hill project.
- Usually, yes. With over a dozen patterns and a wide colour palette, from natural stone tones to bolder shades, plus contrasting borders, we design the finish around your White Cross Hill home. Your choice of pattern and colour never affects the price.
- We recommend waiting 3 to 5 days before walking on the surface and at least 7 days before parking vehicles on it, giving the concrete time to cure fully.
- All concrete can crack, but our reinforced method and solid sub-base greatly reduce the risk. When a hairline crack does appear it is rare and usually cosmetic rather than structural.
- Every site is assessed individually. In most cases we excavate and lay a fresh, compacted sub-base to guarantee durability, rather than pouring over an old surface that may move or fail.
- Resealing every 3 to 5 years keeps the surface protected, vibrant and looking like new. If the colour looks pale when dry but fine when wet, it is usually time for a reseal.
- Yes. The same seamless, hard-wearing surface works for patios, paths and driveways, and even commercial areas like pub gardens and shopfronts. We can run one continuous finish across your White Cross Hill property for a joined-up look.
- Yes, for most homes. It is seamless and joint-free, so weeds cannot grow through and there are no loose blocks to work free. It is also easier to maintain than block paving.
- Usually not. We design drainage into the layout using soakaways or surface run-off so the surface is SUDS-compliant and meets the 2008 regulations, generally avoiding the need for planning permission.
