How we install pattern imprinted concrete in London End
Choice is a big part of the appeal. We offer over a dozen basic patterns and a wide palette of colours, from natural stone tones to bolder contemporary shades, along with contrasting borders and edging details. The pattern and colour you pick never change the price.
After stamping, the surface is left clean and walkable for around 7 days while the concrete cures. We then return to power wash and apply a solvent-based acrylic sealant, which locks in the colour, repels dirt and algae, and carries a non-slip agent for safety in wet weather.
Signs you might need Pattern Imprinted Concrete in London End
- Cracked tarmac or crumbling concrete is spreading and getting worse each winter
- Cleaning between block pavers has become a losing battle against weeds and moss
- You want the look of natural stone, slate or cobbles without the price or upkeep
- Puddles collect on the drive because the current surface drains poorly
- Block pavers or slabs have worked loose, sunk or become a trip hazard
From the first survey to the final coat of sealant, your London End project stays with one experienced team who take pride in the finish. Call or message Driveway & Decking Co. and we will arrange a convenient time to visit and quote.

Cannot recommend these guys enough. James, Ross, George and John all done an amazing job transforming my driveway and patio. Professional from the outset with a final finish that impresses everyone that sees it, that will last years to come!
We had our driveway done this year and they did a fantastic job. I'm really happy with the outcome. I would recommend this company.
Had these guys do my garden from a recommendation. They have done a fantastic job . My garden now looks amazing. Anyone who's thinking of having a garden makeover or a new drive I highly recommend this company. 10/10
Fantastic team, professional but friendly. They have done a brilliant job on our front drive a few years ago and this year on our back garden, with new decking, imprinted concrete patio and pathway and finished off with a gravel area and turf. They did the whole job from start, clearing the area, working through bad weather where they could and only the recent snow held the job up and only by a couple of days! Definitely recommend 100%. Thanks guys!
Very pleased with our driveway which was completed in January. Communication before the job was great and the work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to get imprinted concrete work done.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Yes. Once the surface has cured for around 7 days we power wash it and apply a solvent-based acrylic sealant. That locks in the colour, repels dirt and algae, and carries a non-slip agent for safety in wet weather.
- Yes, for most homes. It is seamless and joint-free, so weeds cannot grow through and there are no loose blocks to work free. It is also easier to maintain than block paving.
- We keep disruption low. Boards protect lawns and borders, walls are masked against staining, and waste is cleared with a grab wagon rather than a skip left outside for days. One team handles your London End job from excavation to sealing.
- Usually, yes. With over a dozen patterns and a wide colour palette, from natural stone tones to bolder shades, plus contrasting borders, we design the finish around your London End home. Your choice of pattern and colour never affects the price.
- We recommend waiting 3 to 5 days before walking on the surface and at least 7 days before parking vehicles on it, giving the concrete time to cure fully.
- Usually not. We design drainage into the layout using soakaways or surface run-off so the surface is SUDS-compliant and meets the 2008 regulations, generally avoiding the need for planning permission.
- All concrete can crack, but our reinforced method and solid sub-base greatly reduce the risk. When a hairline crack does appear it is rare and usually cosmetic rather than structural.
- Pattern Imprinted Concrete is generally similar in price to good quality tarmac, block paving or Indian sandstone. Its long life and low upkeep make it the more cost-effective choice over time for a London End driveway or patio.
- Very little. The sealed, joint-free surface resists weeds, moss and stains. An occasional sweep or rinse is usually enough, with a clean and reseal every few years to keep it looking like new.
- Most Pattern Imprinted Concrete projects take around 7 to 10 days from start to finish. We excavate, pour and stamp, then allow roughly 7 days for the concrete to cure before sealing.
