If you want a deck in Harlton that looks the part, stands up to the British weather and is genuinely easy to live with, it needs to be designed properly and built to suit your garden. Driveway & Decking Co. handle both, installing bespoke decking throughout Harlton and neighbouring parts of Cambridgeshire.
How we install decking in Harlton
Safety underfoot matters, especially once autumn sets in. We use slip-resistant finishes across our decking and can add grip strips where extra security is wanted, so your deck stays safe to use in the wet as well as the dry throughout the year.
Uneven or sloping gardens are no obstacle. We design raised and multi-level decking that works with the lie of the land, creating a level, usable surface and, where it helps, separate zones for dining, seating or planting linked by steps.

- You want to make the most of a garden view with a raised deck that lifts you above the lawn.
- You are choosing between the low upkeep of composite and the character of natural timber.

Cannot recommend these guys enough. James, Ross, George and John all done an amazing job transforming my driveway and patio. Professional from the outset with a final finish that impresses everyone that sees it, that will last years to come!
We had our driveway done this year and they did a fantastic job. I'm really happy with the outcome. I would recommend this company.
Had these guys do my garden from a recommendation. They have done a fantastic job . My garden now looks amazing. Anyone who's thinking of having a garden makeover or a new drive I highly recommend this company. 10/10
Fantastic team, professional but friendly. They have done a brilliant job on our front drive a few years ago and this year on our back garden, with new decking, imprinted concrete patio and pathway and finished off with a gravel area and turf. They did the whole job from start, clearing the area, working through bad weather where they could and only the recent snow held the job up and only by a couple of days! Definitely recommend 100%. Thanks guys!
Very pleased with our driveway which was completed in January. Communication before the job was great and the work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to get imprinted concrete work done.
They did a brilliant job on our garden, good value and a great finish. Highly recommend :)

Frequently Asked Questions
- Yes. Raised and multi-level decking is one of our specialities, ideal for sloping or uneven Harlton gardens and for making the most of a view. We build a sound frame and supports so the finished deck is level, stable and safe underfoot.
- It depends on what you want. Timber offers natural beauty and warmth, while composite is more low-maintenance and resistant to fading, rot and warping. We help you weigh both up at your free Harlton consultation so the choice suits your garden and budget.
- Yes. We design raised and multi-level decking to suit uneven or sloping gardens, working with the lie of the land to create a level, usable surface. It is one of the best ways to reclaim an awkward Harlton garden.
- Yes. We can build in planters, seating, lighting, steps and balustrades, designing them into the deck from the start. That gives your Harlton deck a finished, considered look where everything works together rather than being bolted on later.

- Absolutely. We can integrate planters, seating, lighting, steps and balustrades into your design from the start. Building features in rather than adding them later gives your Harlton deck a considered, finished look and makes the whole space work together.
- Yes. Composite is the most low-maintenance option, resisting fading, rot and warping and needing little more than a clean. If you would rather enjoy your Harlton deck than spend time treating it, composite is well worth considering.
- With proper care, softwood decking lasts around 10 to 15 years, hardwood 20 years or more, and composite 25 years or more. Choosing the right material and adding a low-maintenance finish helps your Harlton deck reach the top of that range.
- It starts with a free consultation and site visit. We look at your Harlton garden, discuss materials and design, then provide a clear written quotation with no obligation. Call or message Driveway & Decking Co. to book yours.
