How we install decking in Briggate
Timber and composite each have their place. Timber gives you natural beauty and warmth, the classic look most people picture when they think of decking. Composite is more low-maintenance and resists fading, rot and warping, which makes it a strong choice if you would rather spend time on the deck than looking after it.
A deck is only as good as the structure underneath it, so every one we build starts with a sound, properly built frame and supports. That is what keeps the surface level, stable and safe to walk on for years, rather than sagging or flexing once the weather gets to it.
Signs you might need Decking in Briggate
- You need a deck that stands up to the UK climate without warping, rotting or fading over time.
- You are weighing up the natural warmth of timber against the easy care of composite and want expert advice.
- You have an underused patch of garden in Briggate that you would love to turn into a proper space for sitting out.
- You want separate zones for dining and seating linked together across the garden.
- You are choosing between the low upkeep of composite and the character of natural timber.
Homeowners across Cambridgeshire trust us with their gardens, and our Google reviews tell the story. Let Driveway & Decking Co. add your Briggate home to that list with a bespoke deck built to last.

Cannot recommend these guys enough. James, Ross, George and John all done an amazing job transforming my driveway and patio. Professional from the outset with a final finish that impresses everyone that sees it, that will last years to come!
We had our driveway done this year and they did a fantastic job. I'm really happy with the outcome. I would recommend this company.
Had these guys do my garden from a recommendation. They have done a fantastic job . My garden now looks amazing. Anyone who's thinking of having a garden makeover or a new drive I highly recommend this company. 10/10
Fantastic team, professional but friendly. They have done a brilliant job on our front drive a few years ago and this year on our back garden, with new decking, imprinted concrete patio and pathway and finished off with a gravel area and turf. They did the whole job from start, clearing the area, working through bad weather where they could and only the recent snow held the job up and only by a couple of days! Definitely recommend 100%. Thanks guys!
Very pleased with our driveway which was completed in January. Communication before the job was great and the work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to get imprinted concrete work done.
They did a brilliant job on our garden, good value and a great finish. Highly recommend :)
