If you want a deck in Bretton that looks the part, stands up to the British weather and is genuinely easy to live with, it needs to be designed properly and built to suit your garden. Driveway & Decking Co. handle both, installing bespoke decking throughout Bretton and neighbouring parts of Cambridgeshire.
How we install decking in Bretton
Uneven or sloping gardens are no obstacle. We design raised and multi-level decking that works with the lie of the land, creating a level, usable surface and, where it helps, separate zones for dining, seating or planting linked by steps.
Longevity comes down to material and care. With proper upkeep softwood decking lasts around 10 to 15 years, hardwood 20 years or more, and composite 25 years or more. Low-maintenance finishes are available on request, easy to clean and designed to keep your deck looking its best for as long as possible.
Signs you might need Decking in Bretton
- You want separate zones for dining and seating linked together across the garden.
- You want to make the most of a garden view with a raised deck that lifts you above the lawn.
- You are choosing between the low upkeep of composite and the character of natural timber.
- You want to build in features like seating, planters, lighting or steps rather than bolt them on later.
- You have an underused patch of garden in Bretton that you would love to turn into a proper space for sitting out.
A well-built deck is an investment in how much you enjoy your own garden, adding usable space and lasting appeal to your Bretton home. Speak to our Cambridgeshire team about your project and we will walk you through the material options with no pressure.

Cannot recommend these guys enough. James, Ross, George and John all done an amazing job transforming my driveway and patio. Professional from the outset with a final finish that impresses everyone that sees it, that will last years to come!
We had our driveway done this year and they did a fantastic job. I'm really happy with the outcome. I would recommend this company.
Had these guys do my garden from a recommendation. They have done a fantastic job . My garden now looks amazing. Anyone who's thinking of having a garden makeover or a new drive I highly recommend this company. 10/10
Fantastic team, professional but friendly. They have done a brilliant job on our front drive a few years ago and this year on our back garden, with new decking, imprinted concrete patio and pathway and finished off with a gravel area and turf. They did the whole job from start, clearing the area, working through bad weather where they could and only the recent snow held the job up and only by a couple of days! Definitely recommend 100%. Thanks guys!
Very pleased with our driveway which was completed in January. Communication before the job was great and the work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to get imprinted concrete work done.
They did a brilliant job on our garden, good value and a great finish. Highly recommend :)
